  • Study of the intrinsic properties of halide hybrid perovskites, in particular two-dimensional Ruddlesden-Popper perovskites, in the framework of photovoltaic applications and light-emitting components.
  • Study of the light-matter interaction in photonic microcavities containing hybrid perovskites, in particular study of polaritons.
  • Molecular engineering and functionalization of halide hybrid perovskites.
  • Ultrafast exciton and charge carrier dynamics in colloidal perovskite nanostructures.
  • Detection of the early steps of the nucleation of perovskites.

Experimental means / theoretical tools :

  • Materials :
    Colloidal synthesis of 2D and 3D halide perovskites
    Growth of single crystals of halide perovskites
    Deposition in thin layers by spin-coating.
    Micro and nano-crystals production in a microfluidic system
  • Optical studies :
    Steady state optical spectroscopy (absorption, reflectivity, photoluminescence).
    Time-resolved (TCSPC) and spatially-resolved photoluminescence in the visible, as a function of temperature (10K – 300K).
    Ultrafast pump-probe spectroscopy (femtosecond transient absorption spectroscopy) with UV-vis-NIR excitation.
    Full-field fluorescence lifetime imaging (FLIM)
