Topics :
The GeePs (formerly LGEP) has been working in the field of electronics and energy, and especially in photovoltaics for more than 40 years. It has developed many characterization platforms. The keywords of the studied topics are : tandem solar cells, electrical and optoelectronic characterizations, photoelectron spectroscopies, scanning probe microscopies.

Experimental means / theoretical tools :
Physico-chemical characterization (XPS, UPS, IPES). Characterization of transport mechanisms, of electronically active defects, using techniques based on photocurrent and admittance measurements in different regimes. More recently, it has developed photoluminescence characterization benches, atomic probe microscopy platforms with resiscope and KPFM modes, and a coupled µ-Raman/µ-PL/AFM/c-AFM spectroscopy platform.
