Study of the structure/properties relationships under non-ambient conditions (pressure, electrical field, continuous and pulsed laser) in functional crystalline materials presenting magnetic, optical and electronic properties(molecular magnetism and hybrid perovskites).

The CRISP team (CRM2 laboratory, Nancy) focusses on the structure-properties relationship in functional molecular crystals and nanocrystals. Our goal is to develop crystallographic tools, methods and instruments to derive and model the structural organization and the structural dynamics on all spatial and temporal scales. Our experimental methods rely on x-rays and neutron diffraction and total scattering methods in equilibrium or out of equilibrium conditions. We develop a crystallographic platform for studying the structural response of crystals under pressure/electric field/laser at variable temperature.
